Hobbs supports Apprenticeship Week

Apprenticeship Week kicks off today, 7th – 11th February 2022, and Hobbs the Printers will be supporting this national initiative as we have done for many decades.

The British Print Industries Federation (BPIF) are celebrating with a range of events and webinars scheduled throughout the week to explore how individuals and employers can get more involved in apprenticeships. There will be an opportunity to recognise past and present apprentices’ achievements and hear their experiences on courses in the industry. You will also be able to find out more about careers in print, apprenticeship funding, recruitment and current apprentice vacancies.

Full details can be found here – BPIF | Training & Development | National Apprenticeship Week 2022 (britishprint.com)

Many of our managers have trained via apprenticeships themselves including our Deputy Managing Director, Graham Bromley, who will be joining a BPIF panel on Wednesday 9th February 2022. He will be discussing how an apprentice can complement your current workforce, and now as an experienced mentor to the next generation of apprentices at Hobbs, he will give an insight into how our apprentices enrich our human capital workforce at Hobbs and how print has changed over the years.
